Brandi Passante, a TV reality show host, is most well known for her appearance in A&E's reality series "Storage War". The show also featured Jarrod Schulz as Brandi's longtime boyfriend, and husband now that pushed them both into fame. In the show, storage lockers that have not had their rent paid within the past three months go up for auction. Brandi and Jarrod, who run and manage the 'Now and Then thrift shop located in Orange, California, participated on the show with the hope of purchasing storage units at a bargain price. Little did they know that the show would actually create reality-TV stars from their store! The show was a success due to the couple who were very tactful with their biddings throughout the episode and became celebrities. The success of the show's reality boosted their business and allowed them to open another shop in addition to the shop they had already run. The spin-off Brandi & Jarrod: Married to the Job was created following their appearance on Storage Wars.
